FAQ
HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT SESSION TYPICALLY LAST?
All sessions [Initial Evaluations and Follow-Up treatment sessions] are 1-on-1 for 60 minutes and we guarantee the full attention of your performance physical therapist for the entirety of the session.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

Every case is different, as no client’s situation is exactly the same- frequency and duration of treatment sessions will depend on the client’s current level of function and their aspired personal goals. Some of the things we consider when determining these parameters are:

  • Severity of Symptoms/Injury
  • Chronicity of Pain/Injury
  • Current Level of Stress
  • Current Physical Condition/Activity Level
  • Emotional/Mental Health
  • Nutrition
  • Healing Potential
  • Other Personal Factors

Following the assessment in your Initial Evaluation, your performance physical therapist will discuss the recommended plan of care to address the client’s needs.

WHAT IF I WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE SEEING MY PHYSICAL THERAPIST AFTER MY PLAN OF CARE ENDS?
At Movement Mastery Solutions, we offer a continuity program in which the client can continue to schedule treatment sessions with their provider on a monthly/bi-monthly basis.
WHAT IS THE APPROPRIATE ATTIRE FOR TREATMENT SESSIONS?
We encourage you to wear something you can easily move around in, and in some cases, we may need to access the area being assessed. Please consider these recommendations when you are preparing for your treatment sessions.
WHAT INSURANCES DO YOU ACCEPT?
We are an “out-of-network provider”, meaning we do not file claims through health insurance companies; however, we can provide a superbill to those with out-of-network benefits. We do accept HSA/FSA payments.
WHAT IS A SUPERBILL?
A superbill is an itemized form, which details the services provided in a treatment session. Clients will be given this at the conclusion of their treatment, and those with out-of-network benefits can submit it to their insurance company for reimbursement.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN OUT-OF-NETWORK PROVIDER?
This means we are not contracted with health insurance companies and therefore we do not bill directly through insurance for our services. Our clients pay us directly for their personalized, 1-on-1 treatment sessions. This business structure yields HIGHER QUALITY treatments, as we can give our full attention to every client and utilize interventions that are necessary and beneficial for the client and their recovery, as opposed to our treatments being dictated by insurance rules and regulations.
